Direct deposit is the fastest and most secure way to receive a refund. Students can enroll through the Student Information System (SIS):
For additional information, visit the Direct Deposit Refund Program webpage.
Students who are not enrolled in direct deposit will receive a refund check by mail. Checks are mailed to the student's current mailing address on file with the university. Students are responsible for ensuring their mailing address is accurate and up to date.
When a credit balance is created by a Parent PLUS Loan, the refund is issued according to the preference selected during the loan application process.
Initial refund dates are established in coordination with the Office of Financial Aid, the financial aid disbursement schedule, and the academic calendar. Refund timing for students enrolled in professional schools may vary due to different academic calendars. Please note that refund processing dates represent when refunds are initiated by Student Accounts. The time required for funds to be received may vary depending on the refund method and financial institution.
